Avid Mojo + Media Station Bundle
Compact enough to take on location yet powerful enough to serve as the core of a professional video-editing suite, Avid Mojo hardware connects to both laptop and desktop systems with a single IEEE-1394 (FireWire) cable. Unlike other add-on hardware, Avid Mojo lets you capture audio or video while also providing output of the same source, so you can monitor what you're capturing, including watching video on a client monitor while recording voiceover - impossible with hardware from other manufacturers.
More Realtime Video Output Avid Mojo provides much more than expanded I/O. Its hardware DV codec means that more cycles are available to your computer for other tasks, such as effects processing. You get more real-time effects output and more real-time video streams, simultaneously output to both a broadcast monitor and to tape. The Avid Mojo hardware decoder also scales up draft resolution video for stunning display on a broadcast monitor. And with its ability to display HD media on SD monitors, Avid Mojo provides flexibility for your changing format needs. The Affordable Solution The Avid Mojo video interface makes entering the market for professional video post more affordable than ever. Mojo enables Pro Tools|HD editors to open OMF, AAF, or MXF files and sequences created with Avid Xpress Pro or Avid Media Composer Adrenaline systems, play back video via an external monitor, tab from cut to cut in the Pro Tools video track, and export finished audio for re-integration into an original Avid sequence. It also works with the most popular and flexible Avid video resolutions, including uncompressed MXF or JFIF, DV25 and DV50, 15:1 single-frame JFIF, and several 24P/25P progressive-scan resolutions. Avid Media Station|PT conform/render/layback software and DigiTranslator 2.0 for AAF/OMF/MXF interchange are also compatible with Avid Mojo. Avid Media Station|PT Provides Complete Control Over Your Audio The Avid Media Station|PT companion application provides the Pro Tools post production professional with complete control of the audio sweetening process, from ingest to layback. Custom built for Pro Tools users with AVoption|V10 (Windows XP only) or Avid Mojo interface, Media Station|PT allows you to import an edit decision list (EDL) or existing Avid sequence, re-digitize, render effects, and export to Pro Tools for audio sweetening. Then use Media Station|PT to re-sync the final audio to the original video and lay them both back to tape or export them as a digital movie. When used with AVoption|V10 (Windows XP only), Media Station|PT supports import, playback, and rendering of all standard-definition Avid DV25, DV50, JFIF, AVR, IMX MPEG50, multi-cam, 24P, and 25P video resolutions. MXF video and audio are also supported. Record and playback of both audio and video are supported with Avid Unity shared storage. Used with Avid Mojo on Windows XP or Mac OS X, Media Station|PT supports playback of Avid DV25, DV50, JFIF 1:1 (OMF or MXF), JFIF 15:1s, and three 24P/25P resolutions (14:1, 28:1, and 35:1). All other standard-definition Avid resolutions can be imported and transcoded to DV25 so Pro Tools system users with Avid Mojo can still work with sequences created in any Avid editor. MXF video and audio are also supported. Record and playback of both audio and video are supported with Avid Unity shared storage on Windows XP only. Avid Media Station|PT features:
